How to Raise
Class and Gauge
- Class goes up by feeding and level goes up by EXP. The two are separate.
- Feeding items fills the growth gauge, and it changes to the next class when the gauge reaches 32
Items to Feed
- The gauge only fills with items at or above the price set for the current class (200G or more at class 1, 1,000G at class 2, 5,000G at class 3)
- Pricier items fill the gauge more
- Items in a lower price tier than the last accepted item are refused, and each refusal lowers the bar by one tier
- The item it is asking for fills the gauge three times as much
- Press Select on the camp screen to see the item it wants, which blinks if you have it
- Fed items show up at the pawn shop on Forfeit Island and can be bought back. Fruits do not, so decide how to use them first.
Fruits
- Its favorite fruit adds 1 to the gauge, and a Magic Fruit adds 8
- Its favorite fruit also resets the accepted price tier to the start of the current class
Mutation
- Class 5 is a mutation, reached by feeding a specific fruit at a specific class
- Feeding the mutation fruit while in its highest-class form counts as normal food and does not mutate it (except at class 4)
- For species that mutate at class 2 or 3, raise it one class higher, switch back to the mutation class form, then feed the fruit
- Example: raise DARBI to class 3, switch back to the class 2 form, then feed it a Holy fruit
- Species that mutate at class 4 can be fed the fruit as is once they reach class 4
- Feeding its favorite fruit to a class 5 form returns it to its class before the mutation
Learning Skills
- Learnable skills are learned after a battle that gives EXP, with a 1/24 chance per skill
- Level has nothing to do with learning skills
- It learns at most one skill per battle
- It does not learn skills if the battle ends while it is knocked out

Which Capsule Monster Is the Strongest?
| Rank | Name | Strengths | Weaknesses |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Unicorn | An all-rounder that attacks, defends and heals on its own. 2nd in ATP, 1st in INT and 2nd in DFP with no gaps, plus a party-wide heal. The longer the fight, the more it shines. | No standout specialty; for raw hitting power it yields to Centaur |
| 2 | Firebird | The top magic hitter. Inferno at 7× INT from the highest INT is a true finisher, and it uses skills 36% of the time. | Every skill is fire, so it lacks a finisher against fire-resistant foes |
| 3 | Fish Head | 1st in both HP and MGR, so it holds up against magic, with Hyper kick at 5× ATP to bite back | Spends 16% of its turns on Magic freeze, which slows its offense |
| 4 | Red Dragon | Eliminator wipes out every enemy with a 90% chance. Useful against regular enemies, and satisfying when it lands. | But it comes out only 8.5% of the time, and since most bosses are immune to instant death, Eliminator is useless in boss fights |
| 5 | Centaur | Top DFP, and it defends on over 30% of its turns. It might work as a decoy that soaks up enemy attacks. | But it rarely attacks on its own, so its top ATP mostly goes unused. Its MGR of 13 is the lowest of all species, leaving it helpless against magic. |
| 6 | Sky Dragon | Its 320 AGL lets it move first | Moving first is all it does. 70% of its turns are plain attacks with the 2nd-lowest ATP, which barely matter next to the party's own attacks |
| 7 | Gold Fox | 3rd in HP. Finding anything else to praise is hard | Lowest ATP, DFP and STR of all species. Its only big move, Tail smash at 9× ATP, comes out just 6.7% of the time and cannot be counted on. Beyond the memory of being your first partner it is worth nothing, and raising it is a waste of effort. |
